About Thread and Timber

Thread & Timber is a family-run creative studio specialising in personalised clothing, professional embroidery and custom wooden design.

We have been nursery owners since 2011, working closely with children, families and educators every day. With one of us a qualified teacher, our background in early years education shapes everything we create - practical, durable pieces designed for real life.

What began as creating personalised items and learning resources for our own children and setting naturally grew into something more. Families, childminders, nurseries, schools and local businesses began asking for custom pieces, and Thread & Timber developed from there.

Today, we combine craftsmanship with modern technology to offer a wide range of bespoke services.
